MY TRIP TO CALIFORNIA

Hi, I´m Pablo. Last summer I ____(go) with my whole family to California. We ____(leave) Salt Lake City in the afternoon and we ______(have to) stay in Las Vegas that night. We ______(go) to a buffet in the evening and I _____(have) king crab for dinner then I began to feel dizzy and my face ____(start) swelling… I _____(not know) I´m allergic to shellfish, that was a big mistake! I _____(end) at the hospital that night and the doctor ____(give) me some Benadryl. In the morning I ______(begin) to feel better and we _______(leave) for Anaheim, it ______(be) a long drive and there ____(be) a huge traffic jam in the freeway, my dad and my oldest brother _____(take) turns to drive. We ______(arrive) late that night and we all were tired but excited .

Next day we ___(go)to Disneyland and California Adventure in Anaheim. My nephew___(enjoy)Disneyland a lot and he (meet) Mickey Mouse, Minnie and Goofy. I (like) California Adventure more because in that park are the most exiting rides like the rollercoaster `California Screamin´, we (ride) on that rollercoaster like five times! Also the best hunted house `The Hollywood Tower´ is there. At night we (see) the most fantastic fireworks show in Disneyland. It (be) awesome!.

The next day we (head) to Los Angeles to visit Universal Studios in Hollywood to see how movies are made. We (be) able to see how they (make) the movies jaws, Fast and Furious, and Jurassic Park; I (be) impressed by the special effects and all the cool things they use to make movies, and also by the characters you can run into.

The last day we (go) to See World in San Diego, this park is amazing; they have a trained killer whale named Shamu, Shamu, the trainer stands on the whale´s back and surfs, that show is unbelievable! Also there is a show with trained dolphins, and you can actually touch the dolphins! You learn a lot about see animals in that park, there are also stingrays, penguins, starfishes, see turtles or tortoises, manatees and sea lions. Definitely Sea World is just wonderful.


I (have) a great time in California and I can´t wait to go back!
